Over the last few years, Lelystad has become a magnet for international powerhouses looking for a groundbase to expand from. Some two years ago Inditex launched their quest in building an XXL distribution center in Flevoland. The parent company of Zara, Pull & Bear and Berschka spend 100 million euros on the construction of the DC, which will cover the immense landscape of 170 thousand square metres.

2ndHome 4 U has been involved in housing staff who have participated in the construction of driving the first pole into the ground. We have been able to accommodate civil engineers, planners, work planners, project managers, mechanics as well as logistics employees. On a more continuous basis, we provide expats in longterm positions with semipermanent housing placement.

The logistics site in Lelystad is Inditex’s first distribution center outside its home country of Spain. The fashion chain wants to expand in Europe and a new, central DC must facilitate this growth. The retailer is building the complex at Lelystad Airport Businesspark (LAB), adjacent to the airport.

The logistics activities will provide at least four hundred jobs, which we in turn are glad to collaborate with and offer our service of corporate accomodation.
